Paul Joseph bonded with viewers and listeners across Southeastern Wisconsin. ?Longevity is not something to be taken for granted in the television business. More than three decades later, Joseph has led his team through many evolutions of technology and forecasting techniques meant to inform and protect viewers in Southeastern Wisconsin. He assumed the role of Chief Meteorologist in 1972 when station weatherman, Bill Carlson retired. Combining strong communication skills with his knowledge of science and meteorology Joseph ushered in a new era in Milwaukee television, a forecast with depth and understanding as well as personal connection. He pioneered the role of meteorologists on television and radio and to this day is a leader in the broadcast business.?įresh out of graduate school, Paul Joseph began his career with TMJ4 in June, 1970.
